One dead, two others shot during robbery attempt at Clearwater home

This is the stuff that gets under my skin. Almost this entire article was about the parties and how "rowdy" the house is. Who cares?!! Bitching neighbors and complaining makes a robbery less meaningful? Complain about that crap to the right people and do me a favor writers, stop downplaying what actually happened here. This was an ARMED ROBBERY ATTEMPT! The shooting may be related to a party or something else....whatever, it does not excuse an ARMED ROBBERY ATTEMPT. Just because they have parties and don't pick up after those parties does not mean it's OK to Rob the place! 

No mention if the person that killed the robber was licensed to carry or not. He must have been, or that would be all over the article I would hope. The point here is, someone broke into a residence in an attempt to rob said residence. They were ARMED. So was an occupant of the home and they got shot. Guess what? I don't feel sorry for the robbers one bit. I might feel a little sorry for the reason this person somewhere in his life, was brought up to the point that he was willing to commit this crime, but they knew what they were doing the second they stepped into that home.

All the laws and changes involving gun control are making me dizzy. If that one occupant in that home was not armed and an unarmed person confronted one of the armed robbers, then an innocent non law breaking citizen could have been killed instead! 

"But he was making a lot of noise during a party the night before and left a beer bottle in my yard"......ARGHHHHH

You crooks and robbers out there are going to realize soon, unless you're too dumb like these guys, that people are protecting themselves more and more, and if you go into someones home you better think twice whether it's worth the risk!

What is so ridiculous is getting a gun is easier for the common criminal than it is for a non criminal. I am legally licensed to carry and yes I have guns. I go to the range with my buddies and I enjoy the sport of shooting. I respect the weapons and understand the weapons. I also take extreme care to abide by the law with them. I also know how to protect my home from any threats, just in case any "robbers" were getting any dumb ideas!

I say leave the law abiding citizens that are protecting themselves alone and lets go after the criminals!

There seems to have been a bit more stories just like this one recently across the US. It also seems that when the stories are covered, the coverage is all about how sad the dead criminals family are, or what a tragedy the criminal had to die. What about the victims? What about the laws that were broken? The victim was actually able to save himself or herself and the story turns to that sad dead criminal? The homeowner survived and the robber is dead so lets write about the robber? Does anyone think that the person that had to defend themselves in fear for their life might have issues for the rest of their life just for the trauma of doing what they had to do to survive? 

It's sad when ANYONE dies, but you know what? Maybe, just maybe, you should not break into someones home armed or not? Just a suggestion....

First off, most, if not all, of the women in the LFL ARE Hotties, but that does not equate to sissy's, and I have written about the LFL on my Blog before. I am bound and determined to get the word out about this awesome league! I received a lot of questions and comments about it (although not on my freaking Blog). Let me make one thing clear.....AGAIN. They are for real!
Is there a lot of "eye candy" for "every one" to see? Yes, but do not let that distract you from the reality that these women are for REAL. They take the game serious and they go all out, and there are no holds barred on the field. There are no runway models in Lingerie. Just fit, BAD ASS WOMEN, kicking ass in a fast paced game of football with some real exciting action and hits!
I received permission from my new hero of the LFL to show the photo of what happened to her foot after a bunch of silly little ladies playing a game of football in lingerie. TOTALLY kidding there! Her name is Carie and she plays for the Tampa Breeze. Trust me, she did not receive this injury while wearing high heels in a game or during some photo shoot.
Her number is 17, which she mentioned someone else might be wearing this year and I think is total BS! That is HER number and should stay that way. If someone on the Breeze is even offered that number I would turn it down because Carie will be back!
The injury pic you all see instead of a HOTTIE in lingerie was just to prove these ladies are for real! You can search engine a lot of "hot pics" of LFL players if you want.
She will have to sit out a year and rehab just like some of our favorite NFL players! It sucks when your number one pick in your Fantasy League goes down for the year doesn't it? Like Tom Brady did for me a few years ago.
So people. Check them out. Do some research. At least watch the video clips from http://www.lflus.com/. Get some tickets, bring some friends, and have some fun! I'll bet after one game you will believe!

Cheerleaders

I love sports. Arguably, all the major ones like football, baseball, basketball, and hockey. Did you even know hockey had cheerleaders? But I do not think the cheerleaders get enough respect! They get paid what I consider a very low amount of money and they pour their heart and souls out for the teams! 


According to a little research I did, "Salaries are minimal, ranging between $200 and $1,000 per month for each cheerleader". That would not pay half my bills and I'm very frugal.


These women have to be in tip top shape which takes more effort than half the freaking nation is willing to put out. They have to have near perfect hard bodies. How many women do that for almost free? If they are lucky, someone will see them and offer something more equitable. 


They do USO tours for the military. I'm  not sure if they get paid for that but the value of that is priceless for a soldier in the service. I know because the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders did a USO tour on my ship (USS JFK) when I was in the Navy in the 80's and I met a wonderful cheerleader that kept in touch with me, and to save my life I can't remember her name. I do remember she was married to Randy White of the Cowboys at the time, who in his own right was awesome.

The paltry pay of $500 doesn't even cover a month's worth of hair-care products for some of these professionals, much less living expenses for an entire year.
NFL cheerleaders can also participate in a wide variety of modeling jobs, public appearances, and television gigs.


This doesn't mean ALL of them. Just a select few. So when you are at these games and your attention is totally on the game. Which I understand.....Do not forget the Cheerleaders! They are not there just there to look pretty, They work pretty damn hard to be able to cheer for YOUR favorite Team!  And they do it for almost nothing!
